James Barker is an Associate Publisher at F1000, having worked at F1000 for almost 5 years starting as an Assistant Editor in 2017 at F1000Research. James has a Bachelors’ degree in Biomedical Sciences and Master of Research in Cancer. James looks after the publishing management of a range of publications venues across the F1000 portfolio, including the new Bioethics Open Research platform and MedEdPublish. James’ dedication to the field of scientific research has resulted in steps taken towards innovation at F1000, including implementing Living Evidence across the platforms with a particular focus on Living Systematic Reviews, working to develop this new article type and build awareness.
