Jennifer Yost

Jennifer Yost is an Associate Professor at the M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing, Villanova University, USA. After earning her PhD in Nursing Research and Theory Development, Jennifer completed her post-doctoral work and was faculty in the School of Nursing at McMaster University, Canada from 2009 to 2017.

Jennifer’s program of research is aimed at promoting the knowledge and skills necessary for the use of research evidence in health care. In her most recent work, Jennifer utilizes her expertise in systematic review methodology and knowledge translation to advance the international efforts of both the Evidence-Based Research Network (EBRNetwork), efforts of various stakeholders (e.g. patients, researchers, educators, funders) to reduce research waste across all sectors by advocating for no new studies without a systematic approach to reviewing existing research evidence and Evidence Synthesis International (ESI), an organization which aims to connect and support organizations and people that produce, use, and develop methods for evidence syntheses. She is also a member with the Cochrane Collaboration and International Society for Evidence-Based Health Care.
