
Jeremy Grimshaw is a Senior Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and Professor in the Department of Medicine, University of Ottawa, Canada. His research focuses on the development and evaluation of interventions to improve clinical care.
Jeremy was the Co-ordinating Editor of the Cochrane Effective Practice and Organisation of Care group (1997-2015), Director of Cochrane Canada (2005-2016). He was the Co-Chair of the Cochrane Steering Group (2010-2014) and is currently President of the Board of the Campbell Collaboration and Co-Chair of the Board of Evidence Synthesis International. During the COVID pandemic, he has kept himself busy co-leading COVID-END (an umbrella organisation of global evidence synthesis and evidence support organisations that promotes collaboration and reduces inappropriate duplication of effort) and BESSI (a collaboration to promote research into the development and evaluation of behavioural, environmental, social and system interventions to address the COVID (and future) pandemics).
